Welcome the fall with a festive concert by a group of distinguished, award-winning artists including Colin Carr, cello; Christina Dahl, piano; Gilbert Kalish, piano; Eduardo Leandro,
percussion; Frank Morelli, bassoon; Katherine Murdock, viola; Stephen Taylor, oboe; and William
Purvis, horn. They have recorded on leading classical music labels as well as played concerts the world over. In addition to their numerous accomplishments, they are also esteemed faculty members in Stony Brook’s Department of Music. The program includes the Mozart Quintet for Piano and Winds along with Tchaikovsky Piano Trio and also promises some "wild and wonderful percussion." Please join us for a concert to greet the autumn.
