Guest Stars Announced: Two-Time World Champions Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov
Ice skating and dance combine beautifully as The Ice Theatre of New York, the nation’s premier ice dance company, bring their show to Staller Center’s Main Stage.
Joining Ice Theatre of New York as special guests are Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov, reigning two-time World Ice Dance Champions in 2004 and 2005. They will represent Russia in the 20th Edition of the Olympic Winter Games (Torino 2006) in February 2006.
Founded by current director, Moira North in 1984, Ice Theatre of New York has created a repertory of over sixty works. The repertory ranges from 12-skater ensemble dances to solos, duets and trios, with music from classical to contemporary. Among renowned guest artists who have performed with Ice Theatre are John Curry, Toller Cranston, Paul Wylie, Lucinda Ruh, Katherine Healy and Oksana Baiul.
