Weaving together original music, physical theatre, masks, puppetry and magic, Enchantment Theatre Company tells the captivating tale of Pinocchio, a free-spirited puppet who longs to be a real boy. Imaginative storytelling and evocative theatrical effects enhance this innovative production. A carved wooden puppet comes to life; Fire Eater the Puppet Master appears as a giant puppet; Pinocchio’s nose grows to over 5 feet long; and Geppetto and Pinocchio are swallowed by a huge shark.

The well-known story, written by the Italian author Carlo Collodi in installments for a children’s magazine, was published as a book in 1883 that has been translated into 200 languages. Pinocchio has been a major character in over 22 films, six TV movies, five television series and one video game. Come enjoy Pinocchio’s fantastic journey live on the Staller Center stage.
