We’ll welcome the end of
winter with a concert that
features a happy classical
favorite, Schubert's
Quintet
in A
Major,
D. 667 ("The Trout"). A
Rossini String Sonata will
begin the program, followed
by selected songs to
add additional warmth
before ending the evening
with "The Trout." The concert
features the talented
members of the Stony
Brook Music Department
faculty: Colin Carr, cello;
Joseph Carver, double
bass; Ani Kavafian, violin;
Katherine Murdock, viola;
and Christopher Trakas,
baritone. Come and enjoy
this group of distinguished,
award-winning
artists and their enchanting
program.
