Not Just for Kids

Sponsored by Bank of America Foundation

If you think being rich will get you a giant house, fun times, and lots of great friends, come join sassy teen Alice, who believes it will, and then wins a mysterious sweepstakes. In a dizzying race against the clock to claim her big prize, she takes off into the topsy-turvy neon wonderland of the Big City with her two best friends—a white, kind-of-invisible rabbit, and a card-playing nerd who has a thing for top hats. Skyscrapers seem to grow taller, diners appear to get smaller, and rich uptown ladies try to steal their winnings, but that’s just the beginning to all the outrageous adventures in store for you. Whoopi Goldberg’s delightful children’s book, Alice, has been made into a one-hour play with music.

Recommended for ages 5 and older.
