The Emerson
Quartet is lauded globally as a string quartet that approaches both classical
and contemporary repertoire with equal mastery and enthusiasm. They have
performed the complete cycles of Beethoven, Bartok and Shostakovich quartets in
major concert halls throughout the world. This evening’s concert will include:
Haydn Quartet in g minor, Op. 74 No. 3 (“Rider”); Webern Bagatelles,
Op. 9; Shostakovich Quartet No. 12; Dvorak Quartet in G Major, op.
